hello every one, i am new to image processing. I want to do a project on "TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM BASED UPON TRAFFIC DENSITY AT THE JUNCTION" using the images obtained from the camera fitted at the junction. So please help me by providing some links

The project is the camera will have images from four directions and then through background subtraction it will obtain the density in each direction and depending upon the density it will adjust the timer by counting the no of vehicles in the image identified by edge detection. Also priorities need to be set to have the green light to a road if an ambulance comes in that direction r any other vehicle. Thanks in advance.. please help me guys..
