Change time step during simulation in simulink

Hey, I am performing a simulation of a thermal behavier in a battery during the year. When it is discharge, I need to use 0.1 sec resolution, because is the current duty cycle, but when it is resting, I don't need this resolution, would be nice to have 3600 sec, because is how the ambient temperature varies. Is it possible to change time step during simulation using I signal from the model?
