I've downloaded the bluetooth toolbox and started playing around with the BLE mesh flooding example. For my application scenario, I need access to the heartbeat messages to calculate the TTL used to reach the sink node. Are heartbeat message implemented in the toolbox? If so, how to manipulate them?

What exactly do you mean by "heartbeat"? Is this a medical/ECG application?

Heartbeat in this kind of situation refers to periodic messages that are sent to indicate that the system is still active.

I removed the URL. Although the site itself appears to be legitimate, it has pop-up pornography advertisements that you cannot get out of (without closing the browser), and which persisted on my phone even after I rebooted the phone.

Hi,
I understand that you’re working with BLE mesh flooding example and want to know if the heartbeat messages are accessible. Unfortunately, the functionality is not yet supported by the Bluetooth toolbox. But to perform any analysis, the TTL value can be configured by using bluetoothMeshProfileConfig. For more information refer to the link below which might be of some help to you.
