I want to copy my favorites from one computer to another. I am using Matlab 2021a. I typed prefdir in my old laptop and located the file shortcuts_2.xml I typed prefdir in my new laptop and renamed my shortcuts_2.xml to shortcuts_2_OLD.xml I copied my shortcuts_2.xml from my old laptop to my new laptop. When I open Matlab not all shortcuts are there. I noticed on my old laptop the file has a date of 2020. I have recently created favorites so I would guess that file should have a recent date. Are shortcuts saved in a different file?
