Fatal Setup error: Incorrect Message Root Set

Hi, I am suddenly having this fatal error (please check the pic below) whenever I open Matlab even though Matlab was working well last week. Please help!

Actually I just discovered the reason for the error ! I used to open Matlab from the same icon that used to open the old version. And I didn't change it after I re-installed the software. I replaced it with the new one and it actually opened.

This came to mind becuase I was able to find a workaround to the issue by openning any previous project, which worked. Only the main app didn't work before the fix.

Hello,

This error can occur when MATLAB get's corrupted during the installation process.

To resolve this issue, disable any security software or allow exceptions for the MATLAB application and then perform an clean installation of MATLAB.

If the issue still persists after performing a clean installation, obtain the crash logs and contact MathWorks support.

How do I locate the crash dump files generated by MATLAB?

After I reinstalled Matlab, it worked for one day then the same error appeared again on the second startup.
