I am modelling a fuel transfer system on simscape and trying to implement an overflow tank for a storage tank. I want the fuel to flow to the overflow tank once the stroage tank is full. I have serched how to create a gravity fed tank but struggling to find anything online.
For now I have both tanks as isothermal liquid tank (IL) with the overflow tanks inlet set to 95m (tank max level is 100m). My thinking was the fuel would flow to the overflow tank because of gravity once the stroage tank is greater than maximum capcity. this gives me the error:
'Liquid level must be greater than or equal to height of inlet A'
If anyone can point me to a link which would help me to model a gravity fed tank to collect overflow liquid.
thank you,
Aiden

Hi Aiden,
I understand that you want to get the reference links for the gravity overflow fed tank. So, here are few resources which can help you to model a gravity fed tank to collect overflow liquid.
Please refer to these links that can help resolve the issue:
I hope this helps!
