'hypergeom', incorrect result

There might be something wrong with the function 'hypergeom' as pointed out by Mr. J. Pearson in his Oxford Thesis for his Masters' Degree.

I wonder who is the correct one, the Matlab or Mr. J. Pearson.

Although the question is from 5 years ago, the routine still seems to not function correctly in MATLAB 2020a.

I compared the results I receive from hypergeom to results I received from a commercial computer algebra program with adjustable digits,

which I can trust and the results differ substantially.

This is very unfortunate as I really appreciate MATLAB's scripting environment.

I hope MATLAB will tend to this problem in order to enhance symbolic algebraic science conducted in MATLAB.
