Matlab subplot equivalent in C++

In Matlab, I used subplot command to plot multiple figures in a single window. These figures include 2D imagesc, 3D surf with lighting effect, color bar, and some text-labels.

Having the ideas in Matlab, I want to replicate my results in C++ for an open source project. Could anyone suggest where I should start and what kind of library allows such comprehensive plots and panel-layout?

I did know certain libraries such as CLmg and openCV. But I'm not clear how to make a big panel and put different kinds of figure together, just like subplot in Matlab.
