When can Matlab support unicode variable names like some other programming language

I understand that you want Unicode Variable support in MATLAB. But unfortunately, MATLAB doesn't support it in the current scenario. We have informed the concerned teams about this. But cannot commit any time frames for this to be done.

In general MathWorks doesn't comment on whether or not something is on our future plans. If you feel strongly that MATLAB should be able to use variables whose names include Unicode characters please contact Technical Support directly using the Contact Support link under the Get Support heading at the end of this page. Share your use case (what you'd like to use those variable names to do that you can't do right now) with Support so they can enter that information into the enhancement database for consideration.
