Hi Dana,

For plotting this kind of shell you have to get the equation of the shell first. This equation is mentioned in this research paper. You can also find a similar equation here.

After getting the equation, define three dimentions x, y, and z and initialize it with a simple arthemetic progression sequence. Then, plot the graph using MATLAB function plot. You should be able to get the plot similar to the image.
