Cannot get simulink files to open?

Hello,

I have downloaded the simulink add-on for matlab, however when I try to open links my professor has sent me. I says it is not the correct file type. Not sure how to fix this issue. It has a .slx file type and im pretty sure I have the newest version?

This issue might be arising due to one of the following reasons:-

1. Confirm Compatibility: Ensure that you have the correct version of MATLAB that is compatible with the .slx file format. Check the version requirements specified by your professor or the documentation of the Simulink add-on you installed.
2. File Association: Check if the .slx file type is associated with MATLAB/Simulink. Right-click on the .slx file, select "Open with," and choose MATLAB/Simulink from the list of available programs. If MATLAB/Simulink is not listed, click "Browse" and navigate to the MATLAB/Simulink executable (matlab.exe) to associate it with .slx files.
