Direct export from RF Budget Analyzer app to simulink gives differnt results. Based off basic calcs, RF Bugdet looks right; what am I missing in Simulink? Using all Sparameter elements/blocks.blocks

Hi Nathan,
When you encounter different results between the RF Budget Analyzer app and a Simulink model using S-parameter elements or blocks, it can be due to several reasons. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and align the results:
  1. Match Configurations: Ensure S-parameter blocks in Simulink match the RF Budget Analyzer's settings.
  2. Verify Simulation Settings: Check solver type, step size, and convergence settings.
  3. Signal Chain Consistency: Confirm the order and parameters of components are identical in both tools.
  4. Nonlinear Effects: Account for nonlinear behavior in Simulink if present.
  5. Ensure thast Model Initialization & Data Processing steps are same for the both.
In case you still encounter issues, Kindly share the associated files for further investigation.

Thanks Karanjot! The magic configuration was updating the S-Parameter Modeling block option from Time Domain to Frequency Domain.
Appreciate the inputs!
