I went ahead and upgraded to Sonoma and MatLab 2020b does indeed work with Sonoma.

Be aware of this thread about MATLAB crashes on Sonoma.
If you are not crashing upon startup, you are probably ok, in some respect. That being said, I'd be curious if MATLAB crashes if you create a figure, and then try to close that figure by clicking the red-circled X of that window. Mine consistently crashes when I do that, for all releases I've tried (back to R2022a).

Fortunately for I am not seeing this issue. After the upgrading to Sonoma MatLab 2020b started with no issue. After seeing your comment I opened existing figures and created new ones, closed them via the red x and they all closed normally. Hopefully it stays that way.

Hey,
The MATLAB R2020b is not compatible with MacOS Sonoma. Each MATLAB version comes with its system requirements. Please refer the following link to find the system requirements and supported compilers of all MATLAB releases.
Hope this helps!

Thank you for your reply. I did see that web page and had reviewed it. It looked to me the information was from when the product was released and not fully up to date. I say that because I'm currently running Ventura 13.6 and MatLab 2020b works just fine on Ventura. Again, I appreicate your response.
