uploading a code from Arduino IDE without overwriting the Simulink model uploaded in Arduino

I created an ANFIS-PSO model to control a DC Motor using Arduino Uno. now, I need to upload a code from Arduino IDE because the codes for my sensors and modules are in IDE. is there a way on how i can upload the arduino ide code without overwriting the simulink model uploaded in arduino? i need to run both of them simultaneously.
