Hi, i am looking for any video modelling of lithium ion battery cell with following ports;
Output ports
1.Internal heating thermal port(H)
2. Temperature port
Input ports
1. + and - terminals of battery.
i hope i am making sense. i looked for many youtube videos and MATLAB documentation, but unable to create that block.Basically, my concern is i want to create this block( image attached) for lithium ion cell. Please help. Thanks

Hi Sudeep,
Do you need to create this block from scratch? If not, there are shipping blocks that do the same thing as you described: Tabulated battery model - MATLAB (mathworks.com) and Battery Equivalent Circuit.
Best wishes,
Xiangchun

Hi Sudeep,
We can enable thermal model from the 'Battery (Table-Based)' block, which exposes the thermal port, as shown in the screenshot below. The left hand side shows the origianl block from the library. Thermal port is set to "Omit" by default. Once it is changed to "Model," the thermal port is exposed, as shown on the right hand-side.
To get the temperature of the cell, we can use either Ideal temperature sensor - MATLAB (mathworks.com) or Probe. For the Probe case, see the bottom right of the screenshot above.
We can do a similar thing for the Battery Equivalent Circuit block. In this case the thermal model option is under "Main" --> "Thermal model."
Best wishes,
Xiangchun
