How to use an angle sensor on tire to get the current angular position

Hi, I am building a steer by linear actuator controller and have decided to control the angular position. So i am taking the input steering wheel angle as my reference and the current tire angle as a feedback. I want to know how can i model an angle sensor on the tire so that it can give me the angular position of it as the feedback to my controller.
Thanks in advance.

To my understanding you want angular position of the tire as feedback to your controller.
Here is a link of how this was done in the Mar’s rover:
Kindly refer to “Rover Path Planning and Control” section of the above documentation which covers the theoretical formulation of steering wheel control.
You can also go through the below link for diverse settings related to angles on dynamic steering:
Hope it helps!
