Assigning a name to matlab app

Hi there,

I have designed an app using matlab app desginer. On the top left corner when I run the app, it always displays the 'MATLAB App'.

Is it possible to replace 'MATLAB App' with a prespecified name?

Hi,

I understand you would like to change the title of the app in MATLAB App Design.

You can do this by two ways:

1. You can change the name property of the "app.UIFigure" as shown in the image below

2. You can also change the name of the title programatically using the following code;

            app.UIFigure.Name = 'Custom name';

The first option did not work for me.

I place the code within function startupFcn(app)

It has no effect. it displays just 'MATLAB App' on top left corner.

Please check if you went to "app.UIFigure" specifications, because there are a couple of fileds with "Name".
