Downloading file using HTTP GET request

When I follow this link

"https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=<MY_FILE_ID>"

in my Chrome browser, a file gets downloaded into my computer. Is there a way to "follow" the same link, in order to download the file, using a MATLAB method? For instance, i tried

webread("https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=<MY_FILE_ID>");

but it doesn't work. What is the way to go?
