Does the MATLAB Package Manager support proxy servers?

Does the MATLAB Package Manager (MPM) support downloading product files for MathWorks products through a proxy?

Yes. If your network filters traffic through a proxy server to restrict internet access, you can pass your network’s proxy server information to mpm by using the HTTP_PROXY and HTTPS_PROXY environment variables. For example:

HTTP_PROXY=${HTTP_PROXY} HTTPS_PROXY=${HTTP_PROXY} ./mpm install ...

${HTTP_PROXY} and ${HTTPS_PROXY} are variables containing the URL and port number of your proxy server for HTTP and HTTPS traffic, respectively. For example:

HTTP_PROXY=http://my-proxy-server.example.com:8080
HTTPS_PROXY=https://my-proxy-server.example.com:8080
