Hello
I would like to add digestibility to a model I created in SimBiology Model Builder. I know I should add digestibility to Variants, but I don't know how to do that in detail. Please let me know.

Hi @RW,
can you describe what you mean when you say you want to add digestibility to your model?
Should it be a simulation output that will depend on several other model states or parameters? In this case an observable would be appropriate if you know the equation. Here is an example.
Or do you mean that you litterally have a parameter called 'digestibility' in your model and you want to change its value using a variant?
Best,
Jérémy

Hello,Jérémy
Thanks for the reply.
I have created a model that can predict the effect of dietary phosphorus loading on phosphorus metabolism in the body. So I would like to add new data on digestibility by food, such as soy and pork, and look at changes in serum phosphorus levels by food.

I'm not sure what you mean by digestibility. The closest I know of is this SimBiology example, which implements a couple of reactions representing grinding and tritruation of a meal in the stomach. If that example doesn't answer your question, then please provide more details about what you're looking for.

I'm sorry, but I don't know anything about how to model the digestibility of foods. If you can identify the mathemcatical equations you want to incorporate into your model, I can offer technical advise on how to implement them in SimBiology.

I'm sorry, but I don't know the mathemcatical equations.
Thank you.
