I like to work with linux but I am forced to work on a windows machine.
Matlab and Targetlink are installed directly on Windows and I am able to use it there. But I prefer to work on my well known Linux Terminal setup with neovim an zellij, so I would prefer to execute Matlab in the linux Terminal. I am not able to install Matlab and Targetlink on the WSL because of license issues. Is there a way to use matlab in the WSL terminal? All I tried opened Matlab in a separate Powershell terminal, which does not fit my workflow.

You can install “MATLAB” without a license from “MATLAB Package Manager” on “linux”.
I suggest you update the “MATLAB” to latest version since the “Package Manager” wasn’t available in older versions. Once updated, you can go through this latest documentation for installations:
But “MATLAB” requires a license to use it if you don’t have any.
So, if you are associated with an organization which can provide you license, getting a license from them would be the best thing to do so.
Otherwise, You can also buy the license from the MathWorks store: https://www.mathworks.com/store/
