How to isolate and display the largest connected component of a 3D triangular mesh ?

Hello , after segmenting a 3D mesh of a 3D object , there are some parts that i need to get rid of . that's why i m thinking of getting only the biggest segment of mesh ? can any one ,please , help me ? thank you
