How to Enhance Scanned Low Quality Text

I have a few pages of a book. The quality of the pages is not acceptable and I am trying to improve it. Here is a crop from a page:

Hi Soheil,

If you have Image Processing Toolbox, there are a bunch of functions at your disposal for modifying and improving quality of images. Refer to the following link for a list of functions related to image processing:

I tried to enhance the quality of the image you posted. I would suggest you to use deconvblind or deconvlucy functions to deblur the image. Additionally you can also try functions like imsharpen , imadjust & imdilate to further improve the quality of the deblurred image.

I quickly played around with these functions and I have attached the output below. You can also explore functions other than the ones I have mentioned about to see if you can further improve the quality of the image.
