How can I simulate contact heat conduction between two layers of different materials in Simscape?

The Conductive Heat Transfer block can only represent a heat transfer by conduction between two layers of same material. So how can I simulate contact heat conduction between two layers of different materials?

i had'nt worked on simscape thermal but i think all you have to do is to use 2 units of conductive heat transfer connect both in series and use thermal conductivities of both materials in both the units

Has the answer above resulted in the wished behaviour? I am wondering the same and would like to get advice in this perspective.

Hi Philipp,
In new versions (probably from 2017 or 2018), they introduced a new 'thermal resistance' element. You can use it to setup the thermal contact resistance. You have to calculate it by yourself of course.

Thank you ! That's a good alternative
May you also be able to help me with the question I have here: https://ch.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/452391-simulink-thermal-conductance-in-a-pv-system
