kinect frame rate and seated mode

Hai everyone. Actually kinect can capture the depth or color image with frame rate of 30fps right? Let say if i set the trigger frames for 500, thats mean the duration for capturing should be 500/30 = 16 seconds right? but for my case, it took longer than that. like 4 frames per second. Can someone please explain to me why this thing happened.

Another one is, when i set to 'seated' mode, why the skeletal lines is quite weird especially there is an extra line on the top of left corner of the frame.
