How can the Continuous Wavelet Transform be calculated with Daubechies wavelets. One does not know the expression of these wavelets.

Hi Josef
Currently, MATLAB does not support continuous wavelet transform using 'Daubechies' wavelets. "cwt" function currently only suuports Morse, Morlet and bump wavelets. For more details you can refer here: https://www.mathworks.com/help/wavelet/ref/cwt.html?s_tid=doc_ta#bvaytl3-wname:~:text=morse%22%2C%20%22amor%22%2C%20and%20%22bump
To use Daubechies wavelets, you can use the "dwt" function which calculates the discrete wavelet transform. This functions supports a wide-range of wavelets. For more details you can refer to this documentation link: https://www.mathworks.com/help/wavelet/ref/dwt.html#d126e31834
I hope this helps.
Regards
