Is it possible to do some voxel cone tracing based global illumination in Matlab?

I would like to create some realistic illumination of virtual objects for mixed reality scenes and want to do it using Matlab. To do so I have to get 3D voxel object and provide some light effects using voxel cone tracing method. If it is possible in Matlab, where do I have to start?
