inverse Jacobian matrix of a non square matrix

Hi, I am trying to imply the Newton-Raphson method to a non square system (3 xis and 4 yis). Though, the jacobian matrix is not square and I cannot inverse it. Can anyone help? How can I calculate the Jl-(left arm inverse)? Thanx in advance for any help!
