It is possible to use hist() function without the binning algorithm inside?

1 visualización (últimos 30 días)
Hi!
I made a LBP function where I get an histogram data, represented by a vector of 256 values, I'll call it HLBP. So the binning is already done, but if I want visualize it with hist(HLBP), the binning algorithm change again the histogram and I get a wrong one.
How can I get this histogram without binning it again?
(When I search about it, the hist description don't show it and here, I get only the answer for how to do the reverse ("Get an binning algorithm without hist"), sorry if I miss something).
Thank you!

As far as I know there is no way to pass in a custom binning algorithm to any of MATLAB's histogram functions. Of course you're welcome to write your own histogram routine with your own binning algorithm. It's not hard.
You say "I want visualize it with hist(HLBP)". If you just need some visualization tool to give a bar chart, then you can use bar
bar(HLBP);
