If I have a for loop that plots a line on each iteration, how do I make it plot all of the lines on just 1 graph?

Just a simple explanation of how to accomplish this or what functions to use is fine.

hold on might do the trick.

 aH = axes;
 hold on;
 for ii = 1:5
     plot(aH,rand(10,1));
 end
