Installed Arduino support package for Matlab 2016 but still unable to use it.

I have already installed matlab support package for arduino and after installation i got message of successful installation as well, but till now i am unable to use it as it does not recognize the installation and when i try to install it again it shows that the same is already installed.
Even reinstallation doesnt work.

Hi, I've installed the package on Matlab 2016a running on Fedora 24 (Linux) and had the same problem i.e. : "You need the MATLAB Arduino support package before you can use this feature. Open Support Package Installer to install support for additional MATLAB hardware."
You just need to add to the pathdef.m the location where the support packakge has been extracted.
