plot vector velocity

Hey

My problem. material flow x direction with 0.218 m/s. pin pushin material down from z direction at 0.4 m/s.

i am interested to know that profile or slope produced by the relativity of the two perpendicular vector velocity. from the downwards of the pin and the retract of the pin.

*i believe it is of a vector velocity problem

How to plot a graph from this?

Simulink and or Matlab approach is welcome.

just to add.

the pin extends downward eg 3mm . for an amount of time. and then retract.

the distance and duration before retract is a variable that could be input by the user.
