RAM memory and Matlab

Hi,
I am using Matlab 2015-A 64-bit and Windows 7 SP1 with 16 GB of RAM. The problem is - when I compile/build programs in Simulink I see that only around 9 GB is used by Matlab + system resources. I was expecting that Matlab would use as much available memory as it can. Is there a way to increase the amount of RAM memory that Matlab is "allowed" to use? I believe that my system is configured correctly, as the result of the "memory" command are as expected:
>> memory
Maximum possible array: 25242 MB (2.647e+10 bytes)
Memory available for all arrays: 25242 MB (2.647e+10 bytes)
Memory used by MATLAB: 990 MB (1.038e+09 bytes)
Physical Memory (RAM): 16289 MB (1.708e+10 bytes)
Limited by System Memory (physical + swap file) available.
>>
Thanks in advance for the support.
