analyse data by time

I have a set of hourly data, and I want to find a specific day where data in set1 and set2 is 1. First I need to know the number of 1's in these data; the day and time that corresponds 1. I need the data analysed on daily basis (also, how do I find the 1's for every 24 hours to make the day ). For example, my date format is 1997070101 time; 1997 is year, 07 is month, 01 is day, 01 is hour. See the attachment for more details.
