How can I change polyspace_workspace and other temporary folders' default path?

I am using MATLAB R2015b on mac OS 10.11.6 and I would like to change MATLAB's default path for saving Polyspace_Workspace and other temporary folders. They are currently being saved on \Users\me\Documents. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

You can change the default Polyspace Workspace in the Polyspace Preferences on the Project and Results Folder tab.

Navigate to 'Tools' -> 'Preferences' -> 'Project and Results Folder tab' and then change the 'Default project location:' section.

The instructions above do not work for me with MatLab R2017a. Whenever I use polyspace, it creates a folder titled: "C:\Users\me\Documents\Polyspace_Workspace". How do I change the default Polyspace Workspace directory? The method specified above did not work. Thank you.
