Is it possible to integrate Hitechnics Accelerometer (https://w​ww.hitechn​ic.com/cgi​-bin/comme​rce.cgi?pr​eadd=actio​n&key=NAC1​040) into Matlab Support Package for EV3?

I want to use Matlab with Lego Mindstorms EV3. As a Sensor I want to use the compass or accelerometer from Hitechnics https://www.hitechnic.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?preadd=action&key=NAC1040.

Does this work? If not, is there a tutorial how to write this device driver?

Hello Ulrich,

You have the same problem as me. We have to implement a I2C communication which won't be an easy task. Or we use an Arduino for the custom Sensor and communicate between the Arduino and the EV3 and at the moment I have no clue how.
