When I try to install matlab 2013b on redhat 7 x86_64 I am getting this error message

Please show the output of
file /tmp/mathworks_58215/sys/java/jre/glnxa64/jre/bin/java
... if that file still exists (it might not; it might have been cleaned up.)

The "java: cannot execute binary file" error usually occurs due to bad/incomplete download of installation files. Make sure that aren't any security software preventing the complete download of these files. Downloading and installing the files again should help to resolve the problem.
