Determine whether or not an array of six is changing from live data collection

Hello All:

I am currently trying to write code that would determine whether or not live data, in the form of an array of six, is changing its values. The data is being collected by sensors so thus far I have attempted to create a function...but can't get this part down. So my question is how would Determine whether or not an array of six is changing from live data collection? if you need more data to be able to answer the question please let me know. Thank you ALL!

if isequal(olddata, newdata) then either the data has not changed or else it changed to exactly the same value it was before.
