Import 3 values from a text file to matlab code

I have the following text file with name 'Inputs'

points = 9

dimensions = 3

numberofgroups = 1

How can we import these 3 values to a matlab code as following,

a=points or 9
b=dimensions or 3
c=numberofgroups or 1

I have red about dlmread but i cannot figure it out. Thank you all for your help and time.
