If I run a load flow, I suppose that the states relates to a simplified synchronous machine remain constant until a disturb occur, but when I run a Phasor simulation, the Rotor angle and the Rotor speed present a little variation. So, Can this little variation be given by the solution calculated for the numeric method?

Hello Luis,
in phasor simulation, everything is held to a fixed frequency. If you want to explore the dynamics of rotor speed changing, I would recommend using a continuous simulaiton instead. This still works with initializaiton through load flow. However, the fact that rotor angle isn't changing is problematic unless your rotor speed is zero. I wonder if something else is wrong.

Joel
