Unit delay timer

I wish to have my program decide on the time delay that is needed, However I am not sure if there is a way of inputting a clock into the sampling time of the delay in simulink.

Do you mean that prior to running your simulation, your Matlab script will calculate the delay that should be applied to an input signal? If so I believe you could use the Variable Time Delay block, and the time delay input could be read from the workspace using the From Workspace block.

Or you can use "Discrete/Integer Delay block" and provide the values of "Number of delays" from base workspace as a parameter.
