How to convert a mat file to tracking files .trc

I have a c3d file containing a human gait data, I extracted marker position via biomechanical toolbox (btk matlab), now I need to convert it to a trc file in order to use it in openSim software. Could anyone help me please,

Please, Muskan, explain what you have as inputs. The trc files have a simple layout, but it is not clear how your data are represented. As soon as you explain, how the data and needed elements are stored, writing the function for an trc export will take a few minutes only.

Hi Jan, I have a similar issue. I am looking to take Motion data (basically a giant table) from a .mat file and put it into a .trc file for the sake of opensim. What is the best way to go about this?

As the data is in .mat file..by knowing the format of .trc files, it can be coded in MATLAB and generate the required files.
