Arithmetic Coding and Decoding for image compression

My final year project is DCT,Fractal and huffman coding combination for image compression. i have to perform some analysis using arithmetic coding instead of huffman. can any one please help me with the code or some kind of help?

If you have the Communications System Toolbox, the "arithenco" and "arithdeco" functions support arithmetic coding and decoding, respectively. For more information, see this example: Arithmetic Coding

There is also an implementation of this algorithm on the File Exchange: Arithmetic Encoding & Decoding

Note that since your data is likely a 2D image, you may have to modify the algorithm for your use case.
