Hi
I am trying to rotate some bone ball (3D matrix or volume) images in 10 degree angle through their center. I already found their center. I was using imrotate to rotate my bone images, but when I used to it rotated my whole picture (taking into consideration as the image center in stead of the bone ball center). I was wondering is there any efficient way to do it.
I was thinking of expanding the volume (3D matrix) from its center and then rotate it.
PS: in order to get 3D of volume, I had to stack all the 2D sliced I obtained from CT scan.

Padding the volume is certainly one way to do it. Another way would be to make a transformation matrix that includes the various offsets and then transform it. The relevant functions here are:
doc maketform
doc imtransform
doc tformarray
A good demo or two to help:
showdemo ipexshear
showdemo ipexrotate
