Does matlab2014a support gcc4.8？ And what about matlab2016b?

Hi, when I use mex to compile c code in matlab2014a, it tells me that matlab2014a only support gcc4.7. But gcc4.7 is too old, I cannot find it in my linux software source. The version gcc in my linux distribution is 4.8. I want to ask, whether matlab2014a support gcc4.8, and how about matlab2016b. If not, what can I do to solve this problem.
