I am trying to implement the Hodgkin-Huxley equations into Matlab and use the ODE45 function to program two inhibitory neurons. Where do I start?

I keep getting all kinds of errors when entering code for the HH equations, initial values, etc. Where do I start? Do I start off by writing it in Editor? I'm very new to Matlab.
