Matlab Compiling - With deploytool / mcc

Hello, I am trying to compile matlab file using deploytool and/or mcc command. The commands work fine and create .exe file successfully. But, when I open .exe file, I get an error "file_name.exe has stopped working".

I dont understand whats wrong. Please advise.

Try running the executable from a command window (as opposed to double-clicking on the icon) and see if any errors are displayed.

Does the target machine have the relevant Visual C++ Redistributables installed? This kind of crash-without-helpful-message is typical of not having the redistributables on your system.
