How do i initialize inputs in Stateflow charts?

How do I initialize inputs to a Stateflow or Simulink model?

1. Open stateflow chart.
2. Open Model Explorer (Ctrl+H).
3. Goto Add>>Data , a variable named data will be added in the Model Explorer.
4. click on the newly generated variable.
5. Goto Properties window opened on right side, In General Tab you can find that option.
