Loading bar/splash screen for deployed application during loading time before compiled GUI?

My deployed application which is compiled using the Matlab Compiler and uses the MCR to run takes a long time to load. How can I show a loading bar or splash screen during that time? Will that have to be programmed in another language because it has to come before the GUI is loaded? If so, how would I integrate that?
