Is there a way to create a ramp based on an input length in R2010b? There is a Simulink block "Constant Ramp" in R2012 but I couldn't find one in R2012.

The block does exist in R2010b as well and was part of the Signal Processing Blockset (which has since been repackaged into the DSP System Toolbox). Perhaps you don't have Signal Processing Blockset installed in your R2010b version?

Thanks, Kaustubha. You are right. I don't have signal processing toolbox! My issue is that I need to move a joint using joint actuator up to an angle that I get from a level 2 S function. This angle changes. When I provide this to the joint actuator, the joint moves it in a step - that is, there is no smooth transition. Any idea how I can accomplish this? I tried giving the joint constant velocity and acceleration but that does not change anything. I've also tried using generalized forced but I couldn't figure out how to stop after the joint has reached that particular angle. Any ideas?

Syed: I'm assuming you're modeling with SimScape? Unfortunately I don't have much experience with physical modeling. I recommend that you post this as a new question so someone with more experience can answer.
